The Barley Barn was originally built in around 1600 and was lovingly restored in 2012.  It provides space to comfortably seat 140 guests with a separate large drinks area and plenty of outside space too.  It is only hired out for a very limited number of events each year and this allows us to give you access to the barn the day before and the day afterwards so that with the help of your family and friends you can decorate it with those extra special personal touches. 

The venue is situated on our beautiful family farm where our family have farmed for nearly 100 years and we work hard to support a variety of wildlife by maintaining traditional hedgerows and wild flower margins. The barn is next to a small area of woodland and a meadow which can provide a camping area for friends and family if required. There are plenty of interesting spots for photographs too.  

The Barley Barn is a truly unique and wonderful setting which we are sure you and your guests will enjoy. The barn is easily accessible with London just an hour away by car or by train with the mainline railway station just 2 miles from the barn.
